Re: Andre Ayew
He's a big enough name globally that we could easily get our money back if we chose to by flogging him to China, Qatar or Saudi Arabia.

I don't think he's a great all round player but he seems to time his runs into the box really well and is a bit of a poacher.

The injury looked to have wiped out his whole season but he's coming back and showing a fair bit of promise.

Complaining about tap ins! Only on WHO!

Re: Andre Ayew
Think he'll be big for us next season provided the idiot swan gobbler doesn't try to convert him to left back or something equally retarded.

Re: Andre Ayew
A bit harsh he has missed a big chunk of the season yet he is our 4th top scorer this season. Judge him next season hopefully barring injuries.

Re: Andre Ayew
I rate him, he's a good player playing in a poor side, he's score plenty of goals if he gets chances.

Re: Andre Ayew
Don't know why this guy gets so much stick ..He was injured badly the first game of the season and you can only see now that his full fitness is coming back and he's scoring the goals for us, 5 in 11 starts is not bad stats if u compare with Antonio 9 in 29 and we think the sun shines out of his arse!!

i like him works hard and knows where the goal is!!

Yet to see anything justifying the Fee.Even goals scored were ''tap ins''

Re: Andre Ayew
Problem is nowadays clubs try they're luck with stupid asking prices for bang average players. And couple that with idiots we have in charge and being desperate at the time Swansea thought they'd try they're luck and were probably surprised when we said yes.

Re: Andre Ayew
I said for a long time don't judge him until he's had a decent run of games.

Well now he has and I think the jury's in: he's a journeyman.

How many times yesterday did he play an incisive pass? Beat his man? Put a great cross in? Test the keeper ?

It's nowhere near good enough for a player with his price tag to run around playing square passes.

And this was Hull. HULL.

Not good enough. Offload in the Summer.

Apart from some tap ins, he looks a shocking waste of £20mill

NEVER SAY DIE 11:42 Sat Apr 1
Re: Andre Ayew
Utter shite and a total waste of £20m. As soon as someone touches him he stops and begs for a free kick, woefully slow, labored and has one foot.

Re: Andre Ayew
Whole formation was built around him in a central attacking role today. Obviously it worked poorly. I don't mind trying stuff like that out, but it is so so reactionary from the manager - a player gets a couple of goals, suddenly they're played as the central pivot of the side.

''Ayew says his favoured poaition is coming in from the left and he's not really a front man naturally. Maybe if we gave him a run there from the start with Antonio eventually back on the right we could actually judge him properly''

Didn't see that he'd actually said that, but he played most of his time with OM on the left of a 4-2-3-1. I still don't understand why he hasn't been played there a little more often (since Payet's departure), with Lanzini in behind AC and Antonio on the left...

Re: Andre Ayew
Agreed Sniper, people worry far too much about his price tag.

I thought it was an odd signing at the time, but now he's over the injury and AFCON is out of the way he seems to be coming good.

Re: Andre Ayew
Sir Alf, you would have thought a pro footballer would have the presence of mind to calmly slot it home when he's one on one with the keeper. Ayew tired to leather it as hard as he could, the fucking idiot.
